Erin and Justin Budyak Memories July 10, 2013
Dear Nicky,

So many memories.  I remember the first "real" concert you took me to on one of your visits home.  I was 17 and made a fool of myself, but you were there looking after me every step of the way.  I remember the numerous trips to Aspen and Durango, the countless Cheese shows, our road trip from Durango to Denver where I learned first hand that you are not a very good driver:).  I remember the Thanksgiving in Boulder when you rode our scooter down and stairs and out the front door like a champ.  I remember being broke and you picking up me and Justin and treating us to a weekend of Phish in the Midwest.  So many memories.  Memories of good times, generousity and hilarity.  You are bigger than life.  Your heart is bigger than most.  Your smile is infectous.  I will never forget and will hold these memories close to my heart now and always.

Love and peace my friend and brother,
Erin
Erin and Justin Budyak Heart of Gold July 9, 2013

Nicky, from the moment I met you, you always treated me like a brother.  I’ll never forget that first summer when you got that gig washing the windows of that huge 2 story building.  You asked me to help you and the Tijuana Window Washers were born.  It was definitely harder than we anticipated but we got it mostly done in 6 short days.  They even still paid us.  Through the years you’ve been one of the most sincere, generous and amazing people I’ve had the honor of knowing and hands down the most hilarious.  I will miss you more than words can express and I know I’m not the only one.  It’s going to be hard to know that I won’t get see your smile, hear your laugh and just be in your presence again, in this lifetime at least.  You’re truly one of kind and I know your spirit will live on in everyone you’ve touched.  Thanks for the memories, I will cherish them and think of them often.  I’ve got so much love for you.

Your friend & brother,

JB

Nicky, or as my kids called him "uncle Nicky!!!" Made my kids feel like family all the time!   They loved playing with their crazy uncle Nicky!!!! never judgement, just respect and acceptance!
I think its important to remember he always put kids and family first and always felt it to be his duty to make them laugh With this crazy life we all live!  Nicky you will be greatly missed, so young it's hard not to cry when god takes a beautiful person at such a young age, but I know you are dancing with the angels! Thank you to his wonderfully family for rarising such a wonderful young man to inspire us all even if it were only for a short while....God bless you all and my prayers are with you!

What can I say Nicky Feltz....you were truly one of a kind.  I am confident I will never met anyone like you again.  However, I hope to be reminded on you often.  Reminded of you when others show kindness to me.  Reminded of you when others make me smile.  Reminded of you every time I see someone dancing.  Reminded of you when life is tough because your spirit will guide me through.  I love you buddy and will always remember the great times we shared.  You were always a great friend and I will try to continue to be a great friend to people close to me in your honor.

I barely knew Nick, but I know how important he was to many people I care about, Ryan Felz first and foremost on that list. I will remember Nick for hosting one of the first "badass" parties I ever went to. I was quite impressionable, and he managed to convince me to do a lot of idiotic things, to the amusement of all, including myself ;)  His entire extended family has always treated me as if I was part of the family, and so I mourn his loss as if it was one of my own. Taken too soon, may the fond memories of him never fade!

Words can not begin to explain  the sorrow I feelin my heart for loosing you. My heart and love to you and  all of the extended felz family. What I wouldn't do to see one more of your smiles, to hear your voice, wrap arms around eachother, tell you you were loved, by me, and so many others. you will always hold a huge piece of my heart. A space will always be filled with your love. We loved each other well and for that you will always be "my" Nicky and I your "coby" fly free. Dance with the rain. Love from afar. You will be missed and cherished by many.  Forever.
Driscoll joy and pain July 9, 2013
Nicky Felz,
You were one of the very first people I met when I moved to Trout Valley back in 1989. Damn...that's a long time ago! You and Matthew Loeffel on BMX bike's with pegs singing, "Joy, (pump pump pump it up) and Pain (come on come on here we go) like Sunshine (what else what else) and rain! (ah ya)" through the streets of Trout Valley. Your smile has always been irresistible and throughout our adolesence I could count on it to cheer me up. Church retreats, parties in the valley, summers...thanks for making me feel welcome in a small town. It was my pleasure to meet your brother Ryan as an adult. You did such a good job helping raise great men. May peace flow like a river for you. No more pain, only joy! love ya, Driscoll
Jacob Cool kickin it live like 95.... July 8, 2013
Nicky.....I don't know what to say brother, you are the man, the myth, the legend that is Nicky Felz, and I will miss you.  It has been waaaay too long since we have seen each other, but I always knew we were on the same page.  You are one of the greats, and that is how I will always remember you, even though you never seemed to be able to take down a pot in Hold Em!!  I keep playing memories in my head, and all I see is your big goofy smile, hair piling out of your hat, laughing your ass off.  I love you bro, you had more of an imapct on my life than you will ever know....keep cool kickin it live like 95 son!
Niko Hardwood floors & Pledge. July 8, 2013
Nick, Its been too long.  But I'll never forget, hanging out at your dad's apt. in Trout Valley, Pledging the floor & putting on wool socks and sliding all the way down the hallway.  Also sledding with all of our friends in the pasture accross the street & making a 3' snow ramp & watching people who didn't know it was there launch off of it.  Flippen halarious! Burning hot Chocolate, & playing soccer. Hat's off to you my friend, your contageous smile and laugh is already missed.  Miss ya. Love ya. ~RSN.
